As a young girl I spent a lot of time creating simple outlines for pretend houses. My little playhouses and forts were always carefully arranged. My mother and grandmother were avid antique shoppers, and I learned to recognize beauty in aged craftsmanship. As an adult I trained my eye to seek out special pieces and eventually became an antique dealer myself. The displays I built and the atmosphere I created in my shop have drawn customers who became clients, who became friends. I have consulted with many who only needed a clear line of direction, and also with those who turned their entire project over for the full Henry's Chase design experience.

My personal style could be called Eclectic Traditional, but I hesitate to use labels. I believe one's interiors should reflect their personality and leave room for growth. A sound structure, acute attention to even the smallest details, and timeless materials all contribute to a solid foundation. Having this in place allows for curating and decorating in a way that feels authentically comfortable.
